It's been awhile since I have posted.  My computer is at the doctor and it is harder to post from my phone!   Well, I didn't make the cut and I am disappointed.   But the next day i had a wonderful surprise.  Stephanie posted my card on her blog.  Made my week.   The weather is colder today.   Hoping spring comes soon.  Here is the card I made with the February club set.  Hope you like it.

Sunday sunshine

It is so nice today.   Mid 50 ' s and sunny.  Not at all bad for February.   Spent a while getting yesterday's purchases sorted and filed.  Had a great time with my friends.   We even had ice cream!!!!  I just finished my January stamp card made for the stamps of life gallery.  Now on to more stamps. ..

Today is Friday and I made it through another week.  Saturday will be a great day.   I am going to a local scrapbook store in Mexico MO with several card making buddies.   Good thing it was payday today!!  Sunday will be spent making cards with the newest purchases and my club stamp from Stephanie.   Will be sure and post my creations.  I'll close tonight with a cute little face I found when I was ready to go to sleep. ;)

My Wednesday...

What's worse than breaking a tooth?  Getting it fixed.  I just don't like the sound of drills.  I can't even talk about the shot.  But it's fixed and my mouth is back to normal.  I picked the worst day of the week to go.  Dropping temperatures and blowing snow. 

It's definitely winter.

I woke up this morning to our first snowfall. It's hard to tell how deep the snow is because it drifts around the buildings but it is several inches. 

  

The last 2 days....

TGIWEEKEND!!!

The past two days have been really great.  Yesterday was my short day at work.  Patrick and I went to Columbia and did some shopping.  Charming Charlie's and Bed, bath, and beyond.  Two very addictive stores.  Did I need more bracelets?   Well, no.  But who can resist.  And then there are all those kitchen gadgets. 

Today was spent in my shop making cards.  These five have a very special significance for me.  I just have to wait until the 10th and see.  Here is one of my favorites.

One of the things I like to make are cards that plan get-togethers.  I made a card not too long ago inviting 3 friends to go on a road trip.  The stamp I chose was a "Girlfriend" stamp from Art Impressions.  These 4 old ladies suit us to a tee....  Hope you like the card.

In the beginning

Well, here I go.  This is a first for me.  I'm not much of a social butterfly.  I am hoping this will help me get out there. I will post more when I learn more!!!  Thanks for reading. :)
